| The Brandeis-Middlebury School of Hebrew offers a seven-week immersion experience in Hebrew. There are five levels of study with an emphasis on Modern Hebrew and an option to study Classical Hebrew. Students have four to five hours of daily classroom instruction, and the student-teacher ratio is 6:1. There is extended daily contact with faculty, including individual review sessions, evening office hours, shared residence halls, and shared meals in kosher-optional dining halls. Students can participate in a wide variety of cocurricular activities as well as regular lectures by visiting authors, scholars, film directors, and diplomats. Students abide by the Language Pledge. |
